Two British shows celebrating the best of MG and Triumph will be combined as a single show next year, the company behind them has confirmed.
Live Promotions this week told CCFS that the International MG Show and Spares Day and the International Triumph Show and Spares Day, both held at Stoneleigh Park venue in Warwickshire, will be run as a combined event from next March.
“The International MG Show and Spares Day and its sister Triumph Show are combining to create one ‘best of British’ super show, offering extra benefits for both visitors and exhibitors.
“Instead of running an MG Show one weekend and a separate Triumph Show a couple of weeks later, we will be running both shows together on Sunday 2 March 2014.”
The show, now called the International MG & Triumph Spares Day, will be held at the Stoneleigh Park venue, and will see traders based in Halls 1 and 2, while MG and Triumph clubs will be situated in Hall 3, which now benefits from carpeting, heating and a new layout.
Live Promotions also said that, following feedback from clubs and traders involved at its two 2013 shows, the previous ‘early bird’ admission scheme is being discontinued. All admissions will now take place between 9.30am and 4.30pm.
A new website and accompanying Facebook page have now been set up to promote the event, and clubs and traders interested in taking part are being urged to get in touch with the organisers.
