British Classic Car Festival 2003

16th and 17th of August 2003

In 2003 the British Classic Car Festival will again be held at the TT-circuit of Drenthe in the Netherlands. The weekend of Saturday the 16th and Sunday the 17th of August will see the best British Cars present at the circuit for the 18th time. Not only MG’s, Triumph’s, Austin-Healeys and Jaguars will be present, but also famous pre-war racers like Rileys, Bentleys and Lagondas can be seen. Many of these ars will activeley participate in several races, whilst others will compete in the Concours d’ Elegance on Sunday.
The British Classic Car Festival is a weekend for the entire family, because there are lots of other ‘British’ things to see. There’s a car jumble in the paddock as well as several British Lifestyle stands with books, scale models, parts and typically British items. The kids aren’t forgotten as well, with many thing to see and do. And of course everyone can enjoy some food and drink, for instance at the English Teaparty with an excellent view of the circuit.
Several car clubs will also be present – with British cars only, of course. Especially for their members several activities will be held like the sprint-slalom and circuit training.
The entry fee for the British Classic Car Festival is 13 Euro. Children up to 12 years of age can enter for free with a valid ID.
Opening hours are form 9.00-18.00 on Saturday and 10.00-18.00 on Sunday. Free parking!
